• Nancy Serafini has been a member of the New England Design Community since 1975 . She has received several prestigious awards for her work but her most esteemed was her recent induction into the New England Design Hall of Fame in November 2011.

She sees her job not only as a designer but also an interpreter. Her goal is to translate her clients' dreams into reality with well functioning homes that are true reflections of their own personal tastes and styles. Nancy's own style is relaxed, comfortable and elegant at the same time. Her interiors are punctuated with color and a sense of whimsy. Her love of tradition is mixed with her appreciation of fine contemporary furniture that is apparent in her work with richly textured and patterned fabrics. Adding antiques, artwork and other decorative elements create warm and gracious interiors. Nancy is dedicated to the hunt for unique items that make a house a home. Books, plants and family photos all have a prominent place in her interiors.

  • Nancy has a particular love of children, not only of her own and her grandchildren, but of those at Boston Children's Hospital. In 1997 Nancy was one of the three original founders of the Art for Kool Kidz program . This program has grown and is now an integral part of the hospital, one of which both patients and parents enjoy. Her dedication as a volunteer is one of the things that makes Nancy unique in the community.

Over her 35 year career Nancy has been privileged to work on many projects, both residential and commercial from their inception. Her ability to work well with architects and builders is a huge advantage to her clients with a firm commitment to timeliness and budget consideration. Nancy's work has taken her to the British Virgin Islands, Hawaii, Georgia, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, Connecticut, Vermont, New York and Florida. Her trips offer Nancy a special opportunity to treasure hunt for just the right thing for her clients!
